The United Kingdom Lubricants Association (UKLA) is a legal entity, not for profit company, supporting the UK and European lubricants industry with a wide number of services.  We provide training, seminars, educational materials, technical advice, networking opportunities and publications for our members.  Our association Magazine ‘LUBE’ provides technical information, industry news articles,  as well as a platform for the advertising of goods and services.  Additionally and probably more importantly, the UKLA represents the lubricants industry with a focus of lobbying Government Departments,  pursuing informed and balanced arguments on a range of subjects and legalities relating to health, safety and environment issues, ensuring adoption of ‘best practice’ with new or revised legislation.  UKLA is also a member of UEIL, an acronym which in English stands for ‘Union of the European Lubricants Industry’, for which ‘LUBE’ is also the official journal.  In this membership we enhance our lobbying capability up to a Pan-European level with EU capability.
