Frank Aerts (1959) started his career in 1984 in the food industry as Logistics Manager. After 2 years he joined DSM where he worked for almost 20 years.

Before joining DSM Hydrocarbons in 1997 he worked for DSM Engineering and for the Corporate Planning Department. Within Hydrocarbons he started as Business Intelligence Manager. In 2001 DSM sold the Petrochemical business to Sabic.

After the sales to Sabic he was product manager for Olefins & Styrene.  In 2003 he was appointed as Business Manager Aromatics in Europe.

Four years ago he joined Interchem and developed a trading business in Aromatic Raw materials. Currently he leads the Interchem Energy trading team.

Frank holds degrees in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Business Administration. He is married to Nicole and they have a son and 2 daughters.
