Jaroslaw holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University in Warsaw. He graduated in 1982 with a degree in Plastics Processing.
He started his professional career in Poland where he went through different positions in plastic processing industry in the field of production and R&D.
In 1989 he took over his first commercial job representing Rohm and Haas subsidiary, epoxy resin producer Plaskon in Central Eastern Europe.
In 1991 he joined BASF where he has been working for the last 18 years mainly in polymer sales and marketing.
In 2004 Jaroslaw became a Marketing Director for Styrenics Commodities business in Europe and moved to BASF HQ in Ludwigshafen.
In 2008 he took over the responsibility for Styrenics Polymer business in NAFTA sharing his time between Mexico and New Jersey.
In September 2008 Jaroslaw has been appointed for his current position of Group V-ce President Styrenics for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He is currently located in Ludwigshafen, Germany.
