Howard Blum is a Sr. Associate with Kline & Company, in the Chemicals and Materials Practice. Mr. Blum has more than 20 years industry experience in polymers and specialty products/markets, as well as technology practices. Along with a solid understanding of global markets, he also has an in-depth understanding of Asian industry issues, based on his many years of practicing in Japan, China and Southeast Asia.
Mr. Blum’s global experience involves the understanding of how cultural aspects are related to product use, market growth, competitor dynamics, technology practices and strategy. He is especially involved in polymer and related chemical strategy assignments, and enjoys assisting clients to understand how new technologies, such as biorenewables, may influence the performance and potential market acceptance of new polymer products.
Prior to Kline & Company he worked for Conoco Chemicals (Condea Vista), Chem Systems and The Catalyst group. Mr. Blum is a graduate of Miami University with a BA/BS in Chemistry and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
