Mr. Burns is managing partner of Neil A Burns, LLC which invests directly and alongside private equity funds, in the specialty chemical and oleochemical sectors. The firm also provides operating and strategic advice to chemical companies.  Mr. Burns is a specialty chemicals executive with 20+ years experience in investment, general management, finance, sales, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing and on boards of directors.  As a US based manager for an overseas parent company he created two businesses in oleochemicals and consumer goods.   Mr. Burns also incorporated, started and ran the US subsidiary of a Brazilian public company involved in oleochemicals and surfactants. His first experience in oleochemicals was as shareholder and director of a specialty surfactant company which used fatty alcohols and derivatives to manufacture cosmetics and personal care ingredients. Originally from the UK, Mr. Burns has lived and worked in Europe and the USA. Mr. Burns has served as chairman of a non-profit board, with a focus on  fundraising and public speaking. He earned an MBA with distinction from Wharton and a BSc. in Chemistry from the University of York, UK.
