Bob Drennan

VANTAGE SPECIALTY CHEMICALS
Mr. Drennan has over 40 years experience in the chemical industry, 34 working for large, global companies – Dow Chemical, Emery Industries, Jim Walter Corporation & Unichema/Uniqema (formerly Unilever/ICI). He is currently Chairman of the Board for Vantage Specialty Chemicals, a privately held, USA based producer of oleochemicals and derivatives.
He has also been involved in M&A advisory roles with National Capital Companies, LLC and H.I.G. Capital, LLC for the past several years.
Most of his practical business experience has been in sales, marketing, strategic planning, acquisitions and general management. He built a $200 million chemical business in North America for parent company Unilever in 16 years, starting from scratch, as CEO for North America and member of the global Managing Board of an $850 million global business.
Bob has 26 years experience in international operations, including assignments in The Netherlands and Germany, where he managed a profitable group of companies with sales of $60 million and manufacturing facilities in Germany, England and Spain.
He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, an MBA from Xavier University and completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
