Apu was born in Mannheim (Germany) in 1971.

He obtained an M.B.A. from Western Illinois University (USA) in 1996/1997.

Apu graduated from the University of Mannheim as Diplom-Kaufmann in 1999 and joined the FUCHS PETROLUB Group, the world’s leading independent manufacturer of lubricants and related specialties, in 1999.

He is currently Head of Strategic Marketing at company headquarters in Mannheim, responsible for corporate, market and competitive intelligence.
