She joined ICIS pricing in October 2004 and helped establish the ICIS Shanghai office from May 2005 to April 2006, during which she led a team of Chinese journalists to launch ICISs first Chinese language weekly reports – the China domestic PE and PP markets reports.

 

She currently reports and assesses the Asia Pacific polyethylene, polypropylene, isocyanates and polyols markets from the ICIS Singapore office.

 

She has made presentations on the Asian polyethylene and polypropylene markets at corporate and trade events in China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

 

Bee Lin was also a reporter at Modern Plastics International covering the Asian plastics processing industry from 1996 to 1998. After spending two years in the plastics industry, she moved on to work for a UK-based publishing company, CRU International, reporting and assessing prices of a range of commodity inorganic fertilizers and related raw materials, including ammonia, urea, di-ammonium phosphates, muriate of potash, sulphur and phosphate rocks.

 

She has a Bachelor Degree in Mass Communications (print journalism) from Charles Sturt University in New South Wales, Australia.
