James Bernard joined the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) as Associate Director Commodities in 2006. James is involved with various commodities and has played a leading role in the development of the DGCX plastics futures contracts which are due to be launched on the Dubai Gold and Commodity Exchange this year.

James brings with him over 15 years of valuable experience within the Commodities Industry and Financial sector as well as having a solid logistical background.

Gaining experience on various global exchanges and trading in several unregulated and regulated physical commodity markets he has a broad range of knowledge and understanding of commodities and financial instruments. James has worked for several global trading houses providing him with extensive financial and physical trading experience.

Prior to joining DMCC in 2006, James was Managing Director of Bartizan International Trading and Marketing Director of Wonder International Mg where he was responsible for global trading, marketing and distribution.
