Ms Shen is a founder of C1 Energy limited, the first independent market intelligence provider for China's oil and gas market. Shen Ping has a Masters degree in energy economics. She worked for around seven years as a senior editor with Platts in Singapore before returning to her home country, China, to set up C1 Energy. Ms Shen has worked for various Chinese government departments including former NDRC (National Development And Reform Commission) and the Ministry of Energy.
